'Intentaré explicar brevemente cómo funciona la propaganda, por ejemplo, para blanquear el régimen de los ayatolás de Irán o la invasión de Ucrania:
No se pretende engañar a unos pocos: se pretende que la verdad deje de existir como referencia para todos. No se busca convencer de una falsedad puntual, sino hacer que la sociedad desconfíe de lo que sabe, de lo que ven sus ojos. Esta mentira opera aplastando la verdad por saturación, proyectándose con la voz de la autoridad, repitiéndose con tal reiteración y naturalidad que acaba adquiriendo la apariencia de verdad alternativa. El objetivo no es engañar, sino destruir la realidad. Que el ciudadano no pueda fiarse ni de sus ojos.
Durante el Holodomor ucraniano (1932-1933), mientras millones de campesinos morían de hambre, Pravda publicaba extensos reportajes sobre «cosechas récord y felicidad en los koljoses». No se pretendía ocultar el hambre, era imposible: se pretendía anular la evidencia del hambre. Que el campesino que veía morir a su vecino dudara de su propia percepción. ¿Y si fuera él quien estaba equivocado? ¿Y si la realidad oficial fuera la auténtica? La propaganda no necesita fe, solo fatiga. Hoy esa misma técnica se aplica entre nosotros con la desenvoltura de quien sabe que domina el relato.
Esa técnica (principio de inversión) consiste en afirmar con la frialdad del psicópata lo contrario de lo que es verdad, sosteniéndolo desde todas las instancias posibles hasta que lo evidente queda envuelto en un lodazal de mentiras. La gente ya no discute los hechos; discute cómo se debe interpretar lo que está viendo.'

Who Is a Teacher?
A while ago, I met a line from Carl Jung that refuses to loosen its grip:
“The world will ask you who you are, and if you don’t know, the world will tell you.”
Teaching begins exactly there.
Before lesson plans.
Before classrooms.
Before titles.
A teacher who does not know who they are will borrow an identity. From trends. From institutions. From noise. And that borrowed self never teaches well.
After years spent learning, unlearning, and standing in front of others, this is the clearest definition I know:
A teacher is a learner who meets other learners, not to impress them, but to show what they have come to understand, why it matters, and the road that led them there.
That road matters. It gives teaching weight. It turns knowledge into something human.
From this understanding, a few truths stand firm.
First, humility.
A real teacher never graduates from learning. The moment you stop seeing yourself as a student, you begin repeating old answers to new questions.
Second, curiosity.
Teaching dies when curiosity does. A teacher must keep asking, revising, testing, and returning to the work with fresh eyes. Comfort is expensive. It costs relevance.
Third, intention.
Teaching is never accidental. Every explanation carries direction. Every pause, every example, every question is chosen with the learner in mind, not the teacher’s ego.
Fourth, empathy.
Learning does not happen in the head alone. It passes through fear, confidence, shame, excitement, and doubt. A teacher who ignores this teaches only half the lesson.
Fifth, mastery.
Not just of content, but of self. A teacher must know what they know, what they assume, and how their words land. Knowledge without self-awareness often confuses more than it clarifies.
Teaching, then, is not information transfer.
It is disciplined generosity.
It is memory, effort, and patience made useful to someone else.
